I just finished watching "'night, Mother" and reading the transcript from the first day of Elizabeth Smart's testimony. The movie is a story of a woman who's going to kill herself and her mother's futile attempts to talk her out of it. The testimony is that of a 14-year-old girl who endured unspeakable horror at the hands of two despicable human beings.
So ... not so much a good night. I'm a wee bit blue.
It's painful to see other people hurting.
